You can connect Kori to Claude or ChatGPT and handle your shopping lists in a chat: ask what's on the list, add what's run out, and check items off as you shop. The assistant works with the lists of the Kori account you sign in with.
What you need
A Kori account. If you're new to Kori, the assistant can set up your account and your first list.
If the assistant asks for the server address, it's:

Connect in Claude
- In Claude, open "Customize", then "Connectors", and select +.
- Find Kori in the directory and select "Connect".
- Sign in with your Kori account and allow Claude to access your lists.
If Kori isn't in the directory yet, select + and then "Add custom connector". Name it Kori, enter the address https://mcp.getkori.fi and select "Add". Claude's free plan allows one custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner of your organisation adds the connector first.
Connect in ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open "Settings", then "Plugins".
- Find Kori in the directory and select "Connect".
- Sign in with your Kori account and allow ChatGPT to access your lists.
If Kori isn't in the directory yet, you can add it as a custom MCP server if your plan allows it: in "Plugins", select +, then "Add custom MCP server", and enter the address https://mcp.getkori.fi. Older versions of the ChatGPT app call "Plugins" "Apps".
What the assistant can do
- Look at your lists
- Add items
- Check items off as you shop, and put them back
- Change an item's quantity, unit, note or category
- Remove items you added and no longer need
- Suggest items from your purchase history
- Create a new list
- Set up your account if you're new to Kori
It only reaches the lists of the Kori account you signed in with, and only the lists that account is a member of. It doesn't place orders or take payments.
To start, try "What's on my shopping list?" or "Add milk and bread to my list."
Your data
What the assistant reads from Kori goes to the company that provides it, Anthropic or OpenAI. Section 2.8 of the privacy policy explains what the assistant sees and what it can do.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect Kori at any time in the assistant's own settings. To also cancel its access on our side, write to [email protected].
